Alright guys, I am looking to do a motor swap at some point on my 93 325i. Will an E36 M3 motor fit into my car? If so how much do you think I would pay for that motor from like a junkyard or something like that? Also what all would I need to do this. I have all the tools and motor stands and cranes and mechanical ability becuase of my father. Will I need an all new ECU and computer and all of that stuff or what. Also can I get any M3 motor whether it had a manual or automatic tranny and direct bolt it to my AUTO tranny? PLease I really would like some help with this and really need to get the full scoop on this...please help...
BigRed, we got big problems for meeting up to go to HIN. My best friend is getting married July 31st! Same fucking day as HIN in Seattle I'm bummed because I HAVE TO GO because I'm the best man. I'm really upset about this...

C'mon now...I may not have my job right now...but this summer I will have to really high paying jobs. I will be doing landscaping, hard work but cha ching. Also I will be working at an extremely nice reastraunt...once again cha ching. LOL I will let you all know what I do next to my car.
Uh aren't some of the upper models of tricked out civics actually faster than a 325i? I mean racing for pinks in a non-m3 seems a little risky to me. Our cars are meant for twisties and top end, not off the line. Let me know if you lose your car this summer to some ricer want to be, I have been looking for a good laugh!
