I cant make the passenger seat work for rear access. I push the lever up twice like it says to and nothing happens. Can this be fixed? the manual 3 lever controls work just fine. Am i screwed? Do I now have a 2 passenger car? Any help would be appreciated. Oh 1994 318is, had it less than a week. Runs great, looks great just a few little interior qwerks. Also how hard is it to replace the locking system? when I go to lock the door I turn the key or push the button down and it make this noise twice and pops back up, if I hold it down the driver door will stay locked the passenger door unlocks, it really starting to get on my nerves. Any help or input would be much appreciated. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem with your lock is a safety feature that keeps you from locking your keys in the car. You should shut the door and turn the key.

Yeah, get keyless entry or get used to using just the key. You cant lock the driverside door with your hand.
