More Exhaust Issues

Looking to get a new cat-back exhaust . has anybody out there ever BUILT one instead of just getting a pre-made for Borla ,Ansa etc.etc.. The reason Im asking is I have a friend who can weld so Im looking to Build one but dont know what diameter of stainless pipe and muffler to use. Keeps the cost low and at the same time I feel like I did something different for my car. Im just worried it sounding soooo RICEY!!!!

It wont be "rice" or "ebay" if you have it done right. I hate it when people go "you made it yourself? That rice" or "thats ebay." Go online and find out what makes a muffler a muffler. Some aftermarket companies give out the diameter of their pipes. I think borla or magnaflow have little diagrams on their sites.

Little side note: has anyone heard an Ansa system on a 325? How it sound?

you wanna build the muffler, or just the pipes?? the pipes would be pretty easy if you have a tube bender, but im not sure about a muffler...
