I was wondering what your monthly costs are for driving your BMW. I know this also depends on the distances you drive, but I think it's interesting when we should compare!

Mine costs are (monthly);

Insurance: 55 = $66
Gas: 110 = $132
Tax: 41 = $49
Maintenance (changing oil, tyres, repairs): 50 = $60

My monthly total costs are about $307

Damn you guys have got it good...

In Seattle area-

Gas- $140/month
Insurance- $191/month (I dont even have any tickets...teen profiling is all it is!)
Oil Changes- $16 month (cost ($50) divided by 3 months)
Washes- take care of it myself, like $5 a month
Other Shit- $50-100/month

Upcoming shit-
New clutch-800
Clutch Bearing-300, total 1100
Damn clutch bearing had to shatter inside the clutch so it makes this grinding noie everytime i push the clutch in, literally my car sounds like its a truck coming down the street. Stuck driving my dads 2nd car (chevy tahoe) until next week. I absolutely hate taking my car into dealer b/c you have to wait 2-3 weeks for an appointment, EVERY FUCKING TIME! THere is never an open spot in a few days...bastards.

Thanks for your inputs so far! Here's a summary until now:

Mid-W. USA: $275 / month
S. USA: $444 / month
SW. USA: ~$449 / month
NW. USA: ~$534 / month and $427 / month
SE. USA: $260 / month
S. USA: $255 / month
W. USA: ~$300 / month
Lithuania: $288 / month
Netherlands: $307 / month

The montly costs are w/o mods etc. I had figured out only insurance, gas, maintenance and monthly governmental taxes.

I didn't see any Canadians yet, come on guys.....!!?
Most of you don't like the costs, but it's worth it!

bentlink is an unknown quantity at this point
K, in Canada (Alberta) I reckon its as follows (Canadian $):
$112.50 insurance
$100.00 GAS: $50/tank
$150.00 misc
$362.50 total/month
or
$4,350.00 total/year

However, in CAA (auto assoc) says average running costs for cars here is $7000 per year (all included).

So, I recalculated the misc number and its as follows:
$112.50 insurance
$100.00 GAS: $50/tank
$375.00 misc
$587.50 total/month
or
$7,050.00 total/year

In US $ that's:
$80.72 insurance
$71.75 GAS: $50/tank
$269.06 misc
$421.53 total/month

$5,058.38 /year
