I've seen some bimmers that are E36's without markings on the back. Do owners remove them? Why would they do that? Are they trying to be discrete about owning a bmw?
There is a debadge option for those who don't want people to know what they are driving or don't like the look of the badging.
They are a piece of piss to remove with a small amount of heat to loosen the adhesive.

^Yep, most around my area are company cars driven by sales reps... most of them are 4 pots and they do it to hide the fact they've got a 'cheap' one

I should have waited to get a better one, but my dad liked it for gas mileage, and he is afraid of me having some horses...already lost my Ls with a 4 banger a couple years ago

I dont think anything is wrong with the "cheap" one :-D I actually tried to get a little 318ti a few weeks ago, but the damn bank wouldn't give me a car loan because they said I already had one out.
I don't own a 318, but is that really called a cheap one? I like just about all e36 3 series ... very classy and great drive.
