Well that is it, My 1997 328is is outside sitting in the driveway. Just wanted to thank everyone for there advice and ideas while I was looking for the car. Now all I have to do is decide on mods.... chip?intake?exaust?maybe some of those cool looking angel eyes?......
Quite a bit less than what it is listed for.... (Not becoming to discuss money)
Had it checked out by a mechanic and the car is virtualy flawless only needs new belts (in a month or two).
other than that I had two bmw geeks (friends) look at it and a friend who owns a dealership and they are all astonished at the condition it is in....
I have been looking for a car that fit my requirements for a month now and I am stoked that I finaly found one in such good condition.
Beautiful machine. Congratualations! I envy mine everytime I walk away from it. Try not to look back too many times.
ps
You're very lucky you have the side skirts and bumpers painted the same color as your exterior paint. My 325i came with grey off colored side skirts and bumpers, and it kills me every day. I'll soon be upgrading the body to the M3 kit, so I won't have to deal with it too much longer. Enjoy!

As far as what we pay for our beemers, it's just information, just like all the info you got before you bought yours. It will help others know what to offer when they might want to buy one.
... and most of the time is it fine to say what you paid for it.
It is just fact that there are always a few people who follow, who have to say "you got ripped off" or "I would never have paid that much..." or "I could have gotten you the same car for 1/2 of what you paid..."; and the angry threads begin.
Every BMW is different right? Different options, different milage, different owners, different problems... etc. etc. If you are happy with what you paid for your BMW, you got a deal and you should be happy.
The problem is the inevitable "you paid too much" threads that follow people stating how much they paid for their machine...
I've had mine for six months now, and still look at it three (used to four) times when i walk away
There is more info on this site then you will be able to stand regarding mods, so when you get ready all the research is already done.
If you don't want to discuss money, don't. I feel the same way. Sharing tips on repairs and such is what this place is for, but a pissing contest it is not!
Nice car man!! It's a good choise to get a 6 cilinder. They can run many miles without any problems. I'd like that colour also, sure in combination with that black leather!

So what do you guys think I should do first, I was thinking intake. Any suggestions on a good product that will still be good for the car not just performance?
