| Well, finally had a chance to check out the highway mileage on my car yesterday. I took an 803 mi. roundtrip road trip. I figure that's long enough to get a true reading...and because it was round trip, it would offset any wind or change of elevation factors.
So, while I drove 75+ for 90% or more of the trip, I got an average fuel efficiency of....
27.01 mpg.
I'm very happy with that...even though the window sticker on the car shows 19 city and 28 highway, I figured I'd never get close to that...especially now that the car is 11 model years old.
