Mileage indications from miles to km

I have a BMW 318is E36 1995 USA SPECS. Recently i moved in Europe and i would like to know if there is a way to change the mileage indicator to indicate kilometers instead of miles without any special device.If that is possible, the mileage will multiply the current indication (30000 X 1,609)or it will just keep it (30000 miles) and change the way it counts????? (meaning 30000 Km).
If anybody knows a way to do this pls HELP me!!!!!

You can get Euro instrument cluster (check Ebay, I guess - I've seen one on there from a Canadian seller).

just a suggestion , but you can upgrade and fix this problem at the same time. try and get some reverse gauges (not indiglo) that are in Kilometers and you also get a new look for your dash. might be cheaper
