In the market

BMW enthusiasts,
I am in the market for a new car that will hopefully work better than my current Chevy s-10 Xtreme that I hate to love.
Being that most of you are BMW lovers, it may be difficult for me to elicit any negative information about a BMW. I am hoping that I might get some help nevertheless. I have been looking around the internet doing some research and have noticed that the life of a BMW far surpasses that of other cars on the road today. Would it be possible for me to buy a used mid to late nineties BMW 3 or 5 series car with around 130,000 miles and get another good 50 to 70,000 miles out of it? I'm also looking into the mid-2000's Altimas that are out there...
Any help out there would be much appreciated.

You can find them, but you have to look. The greatest thing about BMW is the customer service that you receive. There is no other car that commands great service, than BMW. It doesn't matter how old it is. My e34 is a 94 and they treat me like a king. It is as if I am driving a new car. Japanese service is great as long as it is under warranty. After that, so-so. American is total crap. With american, you bought it, you deal with it.
