Malfunctioning Wiper Fluid Spray

Hi guys,
I was real low on wiper fluid last week, so i filled the res up, but now the spray thingers are barely reaching the windshield (!?). My first guess is that the little nozzles are possibly a little gunked up so i'll probably take a pin to them and see if that dislodges anything. When that doesn't work (keeping fingers crossed but not too optimistic) what should I do next?

If, after cleaning the spray nozzles, the problem persists,
then the windshield water fluid pumping motor (there is a
little motor attached to the reservoir) may need to be replaced.

Possibly, running the motor with little or no water in the
tank causes the motor to go south.

N_E thoughts on a place to buy one? how much are we talking for a replacement? Are there any upgrades (not so much power-wise but for longevity?)

any bmw place will have one.. and ebay has news one for about 10-15 bucks cheaper...

Check your hoses- sometimes the hose can come loose and get pinched by the hood when it closes. Mine did that.
