ghead alright so i had to get new tires yesterday and found out that my lower ball joint is about to go. how much u think to fix it and is it a diy. also this problem has been going on for a while i have to replace my head gasket my oil pan gasket and my cranshaft gasket (i think thats it) im not to smart with cars are any of these diy thanks for ur help.
The cheapest way to do it is to buy a new control arm with the ball joints alrady in them. Bavauto sells the arms for $89. It should then be two hours labor to replace.
if you're not to good with mechanics then maybe you should take it to a good mechanic. Don't forget to get an estimate first and don't be afraid to shop around.
