maintenance services?

Hello
my question is, I want to save some money when I go get my maintenance services on my bimmer, I don't really want to go to the dealer and get it done, so can I just go to like MIDAS to get the manintenance done?
(like brakes,brake pads, rotor, coolant, exhaust , wheel alignment)

Look a BMW is a car and frankly not much different to service then any other car. Look around your area for a "european car" specialist and you will be fine. There is no reason to ever take your out of warrenty BMW to the stealer.

There also electronic devices on the market to reset your inspection interval. So you can do your own maintenance, and getting back the five green LED's on the service-interval mention display!!!!

Such an electronic appliance you get it here (in the netherlands) for 20 euro ($22)!

Most maintenance can be done by yourself or at midas or other except reading the diagnostic, and oil changes will cost you because it takes 7 instead of 5 quarts.

so I can check my brakes,engine coolant , alignment at MIDAS?
I went to some european car specialist garage to get the brake done, they didn't do a good job so I lost faith in them, that is the only european car garage in my area, other garage don't know how to fix an bmw, they can't even get the oil change.
so my friend suggest me go to midas if I don't want to spend lots money on bmw dealer
but I am not sure a such excellent car sure go to midas to get all those thing done. thats why I ask you guys.

I once went to Midas because they were advertising installation of remote starters. I just drove there when they were closing the shop and they look very scared whn i showed up with the Bimmer. I got the opportunity to talk to the mechanic who said that basically he does work only on US cars.

If they don't install remote starters, there are not many more things they can do. Go, ask and let us know

I've been to the dealer so far, but i need to change the ABS sensors and they told me it would cost $600.

As far as the oil change, go to your BMW dealer, it's only $5 more expensive than the local Jiffy Lube, and they clean your car really nicely at the same time.
