M43 B18 Lower intake manifold removal

OKey, so I the the upper part off, and most of the wiring off the wiring box in the middle off. (as you can see, with tape on it) Wich has all the sensors to the motor etc. But the ones to the starter is really hard to reach, I guess i could jack up the car but anyway, there is one wire going down along the gearbox wich I can't remove. So the Wiring box is keeping me from removing the lower intake. This isn't really described well in the Haynes, and its a REAL pain in the ass, so I would really appriciate some help. Can't seem to open the wire box without braking its clips. Is there any way of disconnecting the wires inside? Or the rubber tube from the car body at the right of the pic?

The top of the box should come of by depressing the bottom of the clips all the way around and pulling up at the same time as you work your way around.
