M43 & auto dimensions, 318i

Hi just wondered if someone could help out, I would like info on the M43 engine, 1.8 lt and auto, just basic length x width x height – diameter of auto, for an engine/auto conversion to an LJ80.

the Lj80 is a suzuki - 1980 model, i want to repace the 800cc and GBX, its a slant motor, so i am looking at BMW engine/auto combo for size as its a small suzuki. 115hp M43 and auto seams a good combo in a 750kg 4x4, so i am trying to find out mesurments to see if i can slip it in before i order one.

Oh. Yor trying to put a BMW engine into a Suzuki? Rather then ordering one I would suggest going to find a parts car with the engine you want. It will e cheaper.

I do agree it's the first time I've ever heard of a BMW engine into a Suzuki.
