| m42 cam
Hi all, I have a 318ti with a m42 engine. The cylinder head was just reconditioned and the shop that did the work didn't use or have the tool too apply pressure to the bearing caps when you take it apart or put it together. I don't have the tool either. I didn't know about the disasembly method until reading the Haynes manual tonight, it say's may cause damage and serveral cautions. Anybody do it without the tool and just take them apart? I did a search of the forum and didn't find anything, the m42 engine is new to me. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks for any help. |
