M42 being reassembled, have important question.

I have just now started working on my 1994 318i coupe, I just put the starter and the lower intake manifold on. I need to know about the wires that go on the starter, there is a thin blue wire and two thicker red wires. they are coming off a box that sits between the lower and the upper intake manifold. And does a wire need to go to the alternator or something. Anything helps, and is it better to do this from the bottom? Any videos, walk thoughs helps too. Thanks.

I need help with the part of the wiring harness that connects the starter. I would like to know where all the wires go, I think there is four or five only for the starter only "i can figure the rest out" , two little black wires that i think go on the end of the starter and then two thicker red and one thin blue along. the blue is along side one of the red wires. the other red is at the other end of the red and blue wires that are together. Again it's for a 1994 318i coupe
