I just won an auction for some contour wheels, in perfect shape. What size tires should i go with. Stagger or not stagger.

Are they OEM wheels ?

Depends on what you use them for... what kind of driving... ect....

17x17.5 oem e36 m3 wheels, my car is not a daily driver. it sits in the garage mostly

If you run cheap tyres as I do... Kumho Exsta Supras 712's... a high performance dry/wet tyre.... get staggered as they will last you about 15-20k miles depending upon how you drive of course... they are cheap... thus the fact that if you get stagged you cant rotate... more exspensive tyres I'd get all the same... to elongate the tread usage for optimun longevity of the tyre due to the cost.

i allways thought the M Contours were 17x7.5 in front, and 17x8.5 in the back?? u sure they are oem!

since the rims are widder.. then your most likely gunna have to do... 225 in front, and 245 in back

I think there are actually 3 OEM wheels; it depends on the package...

I dont think Contours came in anything other than staggered. I may be wrong.

Dude - don't send him a check! This could be a scam. Try to make him take Paypal. Otherwise, back away from this deal. One thing, though: you should have known before you bid on it if he took Paypal or not.

Well... even if they came in staggered or not... doesnt exactly matter... you can run the same width tyre all around... just get something a little more inbetween the two normal wheel fitments.

As I have 8.5's all around... but I have a 225 on the front and 265s in the rear....

All depends on what you want to do.

I am not goin to get em, cause they guy won't take paypal. Its going to be a mark against my flawless record but i would rather have a mark against me than to lose $650
