M3 Sway Bars On 325

I was thinkin about gettin some m3 sway bars for my 94' 325is. Are they better than my stock 325/will they fit? Thanks

Yes they are better however, they are strut mounted and yours are not strut mounted. HOwever, you can convert to strut mounted with the struts for a 92 E36 325 or 328 however you also have to get some of the top strut housing pieces and is a little pricy. You would be better off with some Eibach or Dinan or something simliar.

Thanks, but what is strut mounted? Do they mount to the back of the strut? Do you have any pictures of this? Sounds weird / cool.

what he means by strut mounted is that the sway bar outer end attaches to the strut rather than the control arm like on the 94. if you look on your 94 sway bar, the end of the bar and the links attack to the lower control arm. the m3 attach to the strut.

and there is also a compability issue on the rear. the best solution here is to bo Dinan or eiback as said above.

ya.. id go for a better brand.. as dinnan ect. i wouldn't put M3 suspension parts in a red e36... if your gunna upgrade!! then do it right!
