M3 Style Mirrors

Hey all.... Just a quick question really... I'm looking at getting some m3 style mirrors for my 1992 325i 2dr coupe....... as this is obviously e36 - i have been looking for some to suit this model..... easier said than done (especially in chrome which is what i preferably want) ..... I have however found ones to suit e46 models....

which one of you wise wonderful people would be able to tell me what the difference is between the e36 and e46 ones... will there be anyway i can get the e46 ones to fit and work on my car or not???

also any suggestions/links of places i could purchase some mirrors from would be most helpful as well...

Some members have had troubles with the mirrors from germanstuff4you if I'm right..... Can someone endorse this claim??!

Yeah that was me! :P They sent me the wrong base plates but I edited them and made them work fine... otherwise, service was fine.
