I have used (50,000 mile) M3 rear Shocks and Springs coming for my stock suspensioned 123,000 mile '92 325i from e-bay.

How will this make the car handle?

I am guessing the rear will be tighter, and this will increase understeer.

Should I also upgrade the associated front parts to M3 spec too?

I am replacing the rear drivers shock which is near dead. I am planning to replace all of the stock parts with better than stock, just so you know...

It will probably make the back end ride slightly higher if anything because the 325s weigh less than the M3 does. Or it will be the same height, just with a slightly higher spring rate.
