I bought a 325i from 1991 in November and thought it was about time to do something to it! I decided to start with the exterior, and bought a pair of M3 side mirrors with LED (i agree they can look awful, but these were actually really nice), spent ages spraying them, and when a mechanic tried to mount them, he said it wouldn’t work as my old mirrors were electric and these ones are manual.
I have checked out the E36 DIY Links page on "manual to electric mirror conversion" and was considering to do this, but want to know if that will make it easier to wire them. Can anyone tell me how to wire them, either as manual or electric mirrors? Some help would be much appreciated!!!
