M3 Front Lip On Non M... - BMW Forum

I think I saw somewhere that someone took an OEM E36 M3 front lip and modified it to fit a non M bumper. If anyone knows anything about this can you please let me know. Is it possible? How much modification is required? Is it a nice tight fit? Pics?

You mean that front lower black lip? I have no insight but dont see why it couldn't be made to fit.. That would be a nice cheap addition if it looked alright.

That's exaclty what I mean. The lower black piece. Other lips I've seen are way too expensive.

i doubt it...i have the m3 front bumper on my car and the way it mounts i dont see how it could mount to a non m3 bumper. oh ya i also have my stock bumper in my garage as well.

That lip would make only a small difference. I used to have the regular 3 series bumper before I got my m bumper, but you should check out the reiger (or reiger replica) front lip for the e36 92-98 stock bumper. These make your car look just as good as the m3 bumper.

Other lips are way too expensive. The M3 lip is only $100 CAD.
I actually went to the dealer to see how it would fit and it does need some modification. But it looked reayy good.
