i just need to know if the m3 exhaust on the 325's are louder or quieter? some say a little louder and some say quieter. i ordered one off ebay, and is being shipped to me, but i really wanted it because it looks a lot better than mine, and i thought it might have a more wholesome and rich tone to it. -Thanks guys
i put a m3 exhaust on my 328is and i would say that it is only slightly louder than my old stock exhaust but it has a richer tone which sounds better than stock. but like you said, the main thing is that it looks alot better than stock

My guess is that the noise it makes is so much different because of the engine. I'm sure it has something to do with the exhaust shape and what not. If it looks better, then in my opinion that's as good enough reason to get it as any

(i think)
they have modified m3 catbacks that will sound loud like UUC catbacks but are $400 shipped...
i think its the best solution for you cheapasses
they're around $200. we're not cheapasses i just want mine to look stock and sound stock. not a damn ricer or anything. i do give some credit to uuc exhausts, they're not too bad sounding but to me i think they're damn loud. i have a 300zx turbo and if i want to drive something loud, i'll drive that every now and then.
