Yea thats the part. Where the exhaust tips exit from. I thought it remained black, but a note on the diffuser said to fit the part before you paint it. I guess some people paint and some don't. I'm keeping mine black like stock, thanks for the info
Some paint... some dont.... Original Ms dont have it painted... but I know a few that have and it looks good.... Deloriant painted his.... check his out...
When I look at the M3 it looks like the diffuser is part of the actualy bumper. When I look at my bumper on my 325is it looks like if I added the aftermarket diffuser(just diffuser part) it would look funny and not sit the same. Deloriant did you replace your whole bumper or just add a diffuser part?
I am going to get the same one , from bav auto. What color does it come in? (the unpainted plastic?) Is it plastic black? or that dark grey color? just wondering, because I want to know if I'll need to paint it or not. Thanks

It is the plastic black color. The same as the OEM valence. I think it would look fine right out of the box no paint, but on deloriants it looks nice painted.. i'll try out the black and go from there. BTW they are on sale at bavauto for $115
