I GOT A BMW 325IS AND IT HAS 15 INCH RIMS ON IT NOW.
I BOUGHT M3 CONTOUR RIMS 17 INCH AND I BOUGHT TIRES FOR THEM FRONT I GOT 245/40 AND IN THE BACK I GOT 245/45 WOULD THIS BE OK OR WILL IT SCRACH THE INER FENDERS?
but those tires have two different circumferences... I'm not an expert, but I would think you'd want to keep it the same.
I've got '96 17" M3 multi-spokes on my 1995 325is, with 225/45 up front and 245/40 in the rear. Those are the stock sizes. I have to take my car back in because the front right tire is rubbing a little. It's probably the increased camber of my Dinan stage III suspension, though. I think other people don't have any rubbing. That's with the 225 up front. My first reaction would be that 245 will be too wide although I think I've heard of it being done without rolling or anything. As for the rear, I don't know what rolling on 245/45 is going to do, since it's a different circumference. Your speedo and odometer will be off, I imagine.
good purchase, though. I love the contours. nice B)
