Man I've heard yes...then I've heard no?.........which is it? I already purchase a 95m3 clutch kit...I just need the m3 flywheel...right? I have a 1994 325is.
my problem was that the fork was hitting the clutchplate, and grinding, we figured out that the fork was the same on both, the slave made no difference, the only thing that was left was the possiblity of the throw out being different (in meaning that it was larger and longer) in any case i gave up once the cost started to sky rocket, i didnt wanna spend anymore than i already did , and gave up, fruity had a much different experience ill let him tell you,
in any event ive read it works, and ive read you need stuff, some say it wont work because the differences are too much.
my clutch has been slowly going out and i'm thinking in a month or two its gonna be gone so i've been thinking about what i should do. I'm determined to get some sort of "racing" clutch and i was thinking that an m3 clutch would be good enough, but could some one please tell me if there is a clutch just as good as the m3 clutch that will fit in a 325is 1995? I (like everone else here) have read that the m3 clutch will and won't work so i don't know what to do about it. Also if i were to go witht he m3 clutch, can someone give me a ballpark figure on what kind of price i'm looking at for everything i need (or what all was stated above)? Any help is greatly appreciated! thanx in advanced.

As Kevin said, you need all the M3 parts and then it will work. The standard clurch is 224mm (I believe) and the M3 is 240mm. There should be lightweight flywheels out there that do not require an M3 clutch. Unless you're planning to race quite a bit, or have an engine modified to M3 hp, the standard clutch works very well.

i've checked out clutches on bavauto.com and they have a clutch kit, but i think its pretty much just a replacement stock clutch. They also have a sachs sports clutch for $300. Would this sachs sports clutch be close to the m3 clutch at all? I just want a clutch that can handle under pressure every now and then. The clutch i have now can take a drop from around 6000 rpm about one time then it gets hot and slips like crazy for the rest of the day untilit cools down. I was testing my 0-60 time with one of those G-Tec things, a friend of mine has one, and the first time i tried my clutch slipped alot in first but i can shift quick and smooth so i still made a 7.0 sec 0-60 run. I tried it again and it slipped through 3rd gear, so i just want a clutch that will not mess up like that. Is the sachs sports clutch what i need to get?
