I was wondering if somebody knows what is a difference between M3 3.2l 1997 and M3 3.0 1995 engines HP and torque wise. I am going to buy M3 engine, but I don't know which one to pick. The M3 1995 engine is lightweight.
They have the same amount of miles.
Thanks.

The s50 is only in the 95 m3. the 96 and up are s52 engines. little more torque and power but the s50 used the obd 1 software package which gives better gains for mods. if you already have a car with the obd 2 software then get the 3.2 litre s52.

yea just get the engine that coincides with your ECU, unless u feel like droppin alot more $$ to get the computer straitened out.

im gonna be droppin the 3.2l in my '96 318ti... if i had a 95 i woulda got the 3.0 instead
