does anyone know where to buy a good used lsd for an auto 92 325i? I'm not wanting to go higher than 3.15 ratio. price range $400-500 .

I can get you some LSD... Not for a BMW, but it's alot cheaper than 400-500

Ok, so i installed an lsd on my 92 325i this weekend. At the same time my cousin drained his diff and we both used Lubro Moly 75-90w gear lube and Lubro Moly anti- friction addative to our diffs. Since then we both have a weird chatter when driving slow in a parking lot or over a speed bump. It sounds almost like a low grunting noise. Is this bad for the clutch in the diff? has anyone had this issue? thanks.

that's what you get when you don't use Redline. Are you sure you put the right amount in both? it seems odd that they both started at the same time... Do you have a repair manual for both cars detailing the amounts and procedures?

yup, filled them up until they started spilling out the fill hole. could i add a redline additive to the lubro moly gear oil?
