havn't got my bimmer yet but i'm lookin at one tomorow morning. i was wondering if e36 325is's come with lsd. or do they leave the lame one burnout mark like the rental hyundai did today. haha. if not how much r they after market? Thanks
almost all of the is models came with LSD. I am not saying all because I don't know for sure. BUt I do know when I hear LSD, I also hear is at the end of the model...
It could have. The LSD was a separate option that didn't come in any of the packages (IE winter, sports) Although it's ussually associated with both of them. The only way to find out is to ask as it will be different from car to car. If your's doesn't got it, I'll sell you mine and upgrade to the 3.23

Jack it up and spin the back wheels is the easiest. Spin the same direction, LSD sping oposite directions you've got an open. There's some other more complicated ways like finding all the build options and stuff or checking the tag on the differential. But the easiest is to spin them.

me: 1998 E36 323is automatic - NO LSD. Even if it is an lsd, then mine's SERIOUSLY fucked up lol. I think the primary reason I dont is because I have an auto.
