Lowering My Car This Weekend - BMW Forum

Hey guyz,
finally got a lowering kit (bilsteins sports/hyper coil springs)... I was researching several websites for mounts and other things... turnermotorsport had a shock mount kit which included shocks/struts reinforcement plates besides the mounts and gaskets and stuff..
I was wondering do i really need the reinforcement plates? I bought mounts....

yes if you go with aftermarket suspension go for it, you are gonna need them eventually so go for it!

from what i heard, the reinforcement plates go over the shocks and strut mounts to give more durability as bmws are notorious for mounts breakage/malfunction...

what i wanted to do is confirm that and see if i really need them?

RSM: Rear Shock Mounts, I have a set from BMP and they work great. They come with a warranty and no problems so far.

That is all you need.
