when I start my car, it idles just below 1000, but after a few seconds it gets slower and goes down to around 400 or 300 rpms. this only happens when i start it and it goes away after i wait or drive for a minute. but when i drive with it, i will be stepping on the gas, but nothing happens and then it kicks on and it does this for about a minute. could it bethe 02 sensor?
Yeah I'm down around 500 or 600. If you need to adjust your idle, there's a small screw on the throttle body that goes to the throttle linkage. Just turn it a little with the engine on till you get to the desired rpms.

I have just changed the oil about a week ago, but since i have had the car and even nowit still idles really bad and jumps ONLY when i start it and only for about a minute. it normally idles at 700 or 800 but when i start it it gradually goes down and it sounds like crap. then when i press the throttle, it gets really jumpy and half the time doesnt even go, then it goes after a minute. if you need me to explain it more please ask because I would really like to get the car working normally
This is the problem many experience when changing their spark plugs to the platinum ones. In my case I get this because my plugs foul. Take the car and let it warm up out on the highway. If the stutter doesn't clear up I would replace the spark plugs with the OE Bosch +2 coppers from the dealer.
