Low bean not working?? E36

Drivers side low beam is not working. I checked both fuses and they are fine. Is there also a relay per low beam? Can someone post a diagram of what the relays are for a E36?

I'm going to ask the obvious question. Did you change the bulb?

It's not the bulb. I have changed them.
I do not see any failure displayed on the OBC, but the service engine light has recently came on. May be a different issue though.

probably another issue on the Check Engine,

i would check for some kind of burn out on the connector that plugs into the headlight bulb... check all the obvious...

u can download the bently manual from the sticky from above... and see what they say about that...

I just checked the OBC. It's not an OBC. It is just the temp and time one. I see in the manual the OBC's you are talking about. Is it worth me upgrading to one? I do see an extra set of wires going to a connector behind mine that just hang there. Maybe it is pre wired for the OBC?

you do know there's 3 bulbs in each headlight housing right?

1 for full beam
1 for dipped beam
1 for low beam

plus your indicators

that one caught me out a while back

the 7-button obc still reads failures, and yours is not pre-wired for an 11 button one, unless you're an electrition i wouldn't recommend trying to upgrade to one, not really worth it, to me anyways, good luck with the lights
