Hi all!

My 316 Compact seems to accelerate slowly from start. I try my might and slam down the pedal but it is still slow... However, it is ok during crusing... What can I do about it?

The BMW plugs are dual electrode... Can I use a single electrode plug?

Cheers for all the replies

the 316 isnt particularly fast anyway, its not the biggest of engines

low end on the BMW's isnt anything special so ive read, get it into 3000+ and youll notice more rapid acceleration.

as for sparks not a clue

yeah yeah yeah, ok now it's time for some serious advice:

basically i would advise you to get under the hood with an axle grinder & a socket set, get that engine out then shoe-horn in a 6L twin turbo conversion you (preferably) have already made.

Then add some nitrous.

You should notice some change in your 0-60 time....
