weird thing happened to me on monday & today. when i came to complete stop, the car seems to struggle to get going, once it reaches 20 mph its fine but if i come to a complete stop it happens again. this has only happened to me when the car is @ normal temperature. automatic transmission

any ideas what could be wrong?

would like to point out that my intake boot is cracked (dont know if that would cause this).

A crack in the intake boot may be the cause of the problem. What model and year is your car?

I would definitely replace the intake boot and see where that leads you. Regardless of the size of the crack it could be causing a vacuum leak. The other thing I would look to check would be the MAF sensor. A few years back mine shorted out and I had nothing at the bottom end just like you're describing. I would check both out as they are not terribly difficult to fix/replace.
