looking for a new chip

alrighty so im considering getting an Advanced FLOW Engineering cold air intake and if i got the intake i wanted to get a chip with it for good measure. anyways while searching around a little i noticed certain chips like conforti have modifications options but i havent found one with the aftermarket intake option. HAS ANYBODY SEEN A CHIP THAT WORKS WELL OR HAS THE OPTION TO BE CUSTOMIZED FOR AN AFTERMARKET INTAKE?!

The chip should not need to be reprogramed for an after market intake, so no. You would want a reprogramable chip if you were going to say.. swap cams or something like that. For an are intake it wouldn't be worth doing anyway. The car will automatically adjust for any differences in the airflow that might come from the intake.

thank you very much but i am looking to upgrade the cams and gears eventually. hahado you know of any chips you would recommend?

conforti or the bavauto chip are both good and can be re-programed. Dinan is also good.

It is advised that if you know you will be doing serious upgrades, do the ecu at the same time or even after the other upgrades. You have to pay money to send the chip off and for them to reprogram the chip.
