Looking to buy a 95 325is

Hey guys I was looking at a 95 325is that won't start. Here is what I have found out from the owner. He left a battery charger on it to long and burnt out the ecu. When I went to look at it there was a brand new ecu installed and 4 more from a wrecking yard laying on the floorboard. he was told that the car had to be reprogramed. I am a diesel mechanic so would appreciate some help, the car is clean low miles. What would be my first step here?

Four ECU's sitting on the floorboard and it still doesnt start? I wouldnt touch it. You can find a running example quite easily.
