Looking at 1997 M3 Sedan with 98k but ???

Need the experts on this forums advice...Looking to buy a M3 silver with dove gray interior...everything is nice on it..but, it needs to have the power steering pump needs to be changed out. Also, both A-pillars need to be replaced because the clips have broken.

What will something like this cost to repair? I am not a mechanic but can do some things myself...

you mean the a-pillar covers, right?

The PS pump runs $350 - $400 if you buy a new one, plus $150 worth of assorted hoses, connectors, reservoir, etc. The a-pillar covers can't be too expensive, and you may only need to get new clips, judging by what you said in your post.

power steering is easy. You can probably find it cheap at a junkyard. And yes I hope you mean a pillar interior covers, if so that's an easy fix too.
