Ok, I recently just purchased new front driver and passenger splash guards. Ive been skeptical about the long CAI ( ebay knockoffs ). I got one free from a wholesaler guy I know. And I tried it out and its not as bad as it everyone makes it out to be. I would much rather get a AA CAI but sadly I dont want to spend that much on a less noticable difference in power (saving up for cams+exhaust). SOOOO it worked pretty good. And for the people that know what im talking about then you'll know how it shows sorta through your bumper cover. SOOO I just bought the splash guards and a pal of mine at an auto body is doing some work for me ( he is done now ) and is just putting on the guards for me. He calls me up and says you gotta put your stock airbox back in cause the driver side guard wont fit right cause of the intake. SOOOO I know some of you that have this kind of intake ( daemon I beleive ). My question is can it be done with the guard there?????? what kind of modification is required????? Thanks.
