ARRGGG. I woke up this morning and my hamann knock off's where gone. I had the OEM BMW locking lug nuts on all four tires. I found a socket with one of my OEM locking lugnuts stuck in it. So be wary of these things, they suck. Anyone in San diego selling cheap rims? ghead ghead ghead ghead ghead ghead
If they really want your rims they will find a way to get the locking nuts off. I sugest you get a better alarm, something that will go off when the car tilts.

Formally known as Asio.
Plus if the locking nuts were OEM from BMW then you should get recompensated by them if there was some sort of guarantee that came with them when you bought it. Check that out man. Good Luck. I bought stock OEM rondell rims off of Ebay for a good deal (like $430 for 4 rims with new tires on them) so you can check there...good luck
if theives want something they wiill always get it. the unfortunate part about bmw lugs is that you can acutally buy the whole set that fits all the lugs that bmw puts out. (they sell them to mechanics usually)
an alarm system is just another deterant. but every little bit helps save the day.

Wow ...So wheel locks have universal identical keys that open them? So if I get wheel locks for my car. Anyone with a key can open all BMW wheel locks?
If this is the case. then this guy can probably file a nice claim against BMW. What does the packaging say on these BMW locking wheel nuts? Is there a disclaimer of some sort that claims the lock/key is universal and identical on all units sold?
Dude this is a nice lawsuit. But wait, The rims stolen were Hamman replicas and not OEM right? Not sure about that. I'm a student and I work at a Law Firm so I see cases like this ALL the time!!
They actually used a "socket" from a socket set to get the lug nuts off. It was nothing fancy, just a regualr socket. Any rec's on a really good locking lug nut?
ummmmmmm.....first u need a welder......then u take it and......
any lock is going to have a key that anyone can buy.....think about it, if u can buy it so can they. at least they left ur car. seriously, i can steal a bimmer faster than i can jack 4 rims of of one.....trust me, if they want it.....they will get it.
unless u chain a few nasty a$$ Doberman Pinscher's to it.....
