I'm not sure if I should put this here or kill list or if its even allowed but here it is:
I need anyone with a 325i only (from 92-95) telling what they can and can't beat. Hence, a 325i kill list. I'm talking about a pratically stock set up 325i against whoever you were up against. I know that I can't beat a corvette or cars along that line so no need to tell me that. I'm not saying that I'm going out there to test it but I just need to know what other 325i-er can beat.
So much of it depends on the driver....and its kind of a silly question anyway...to say "you can beat any one type of car" as if when you pull up to a light...you'll know if you can beat someone...you will have no idea what mods they have done...
Know YOUR car....know what you can do with it...learn how to drive it like a professional...
No one here talks about it much, but one of the best "mods" is performance driving school...younger guys would rather throw in a cat-back exhaust than learn how to drive really well.
bigred318: Both type of races because:
Street: I'm pretty comepetitve guy and I will only go against another on street if they challenge me, never the other way around and if I think its going to be a good race. Other than that, I just drive regulary.
Track: I would love to go to one but its quite expensive (not drag strip) as I already spent a lot of money toward school, everyday living, etc. As far AutoX, I have no idea when or where it is near me. The closes I've done to track time was at the "professional" go-carts place. That place is so bad ass.
Very true RibeMr26: I don't know who I'm up against but I just wanted to know near stock for stock races. Thanks for the input. I would love to go to a driving school. Dare to pay for my cost? I believe its several thousand of $$ for it. J/K
All in all, I think I should rephrase my question to:
To all 325i out there, what car have you beaten?
well i can talk personally now since my girlfriend drives a 93 325i, and her car we have beaten my friends 97 jetta (2.0) with full exhuast and intake) we have beaten my friends subaru 2.5rs, gave us a run for a while took off good with awd but the power of the 4 couldnt give it all the way, we have beated a 94 ford probe gt (the 2.5 v6) that wasnt that hard surprisingly... maybe drivers error? there hasnt been a civic or ls integra that has given us a problem yet, same with neons etc, but then again i dont waste my time i just keep driving and they go all around me but we have raced one civic to get him to shut up. umm... lets see errr... haha... oh yeah we have beated another 325 (92) umm theres some others but thats my personal experience.... nothing big like a vette or nothing, cuz it wont happen, but i also havent raced everyone that wants to cuz i dont really like to alll that much.... not worth the ticket/gas

yes it makes you a better street driver as well majorly if you use your car, because you know your car and it limits better
In a straight line don't line up against a 95 Nissan Maxima I did and got smoked. Both cars stock, how do I know you say. I own both cars a 94 325ic and the nissan, my wife was driving the nissan ouch! The nissan has 130,000 miles and the 325 94,000 miles. Is their something wrong with my BMW? I just bought it and thought it would give my max a better run.
