it could be the gas cap....my car has a sticker inside the fuel door. I also recently had mine come on and had it checked out and it proved to be nothing. I had it turned off and was told that if it comes back on it could be the gas cap or an 02 sensor.

If you don't have a code reader, you can go to AUTO ZONE or a similar auto parts store and they will read the code for you. In the past I have had the CHECK ENGINE light come on shortly after gassing up. My code reader always said it was a small EVAP leak. I replaced the cap with a new BMW one. That worked for a couple of months. It happened again. Same code. I then went to a different type non-BMW all metal cap and that did the trick.
If you ever go to MITCHELL ON DEMAND auto site, you will see that the check engine light and the AIRBAG lights have been problems on the BMW.

My airbag light on my 95 325i is on.. I'm the 4th owner of the car, and know it was in a front end collision, but no damager to the frame, just minor fender bender.. I dont think at the speeds involved, there would be deployment of the airbag.. So I'm hoping this is just a common quirk.. But I hope that if I did get in a accident, the airbag would still deploy.. anyone have ideas?

There are dozens of things that tirn the SRS light on. It should always be checked out. You do want that bag deploying in an accident.
