Led clock doesnt work

My clock on the board computer (V) doesnt show anything... i know i probably should replace it, but i was wondering if - perhaps - it could be fixed with the push of a button... Anybody?

Not a push of a button, but the turn of a bulb.

Go to the dealer, tell them you need a new clock backlight. Pull the unit out, replace the bulb, and viola.

I do think in the FAQ there is a write up on doing this.. so if you can get the bulb... you could probably change it with minimal time and money. Just an idea that might help ya.. not spend a small fortune at the dealer.

I might do one today. I'm out of blanks for my push start kits and need to order more. I'll have to remove the pod to get the part numbers so I might as well.

can i get the bulb at napa. my clock doesnt show, and every time i stop and start my car again it shows "input date" on the comp screen. what kinda bulb is it

Ive always had this problem with my radio and used this site:

My temperature light went out the otherday.... damn this...

just get a light from stealer? what like50 bucks?

If I recall it's a $4.30 from the dealer. I doubt NAPA would have it. Its a light about the size of a christmas tree light that sits in a holder (built into the light) and draws power like the taillights with pins floating on a metal surface.
