Lcd Screen Replacement

My mother saw my BMW and now she wants one. We found an auto 97 328 for $9000 kept in good condition new brakes and tires recent oil change. The only problem is that the LCD screen for the display of MPG. Of which I can work him down probably $1000. So where can I get one and for how much?

The bulb is prolly the only thing wrong with the screen. It's only $3. But for some reason you suaully have to replace both bulbs.

MPG LCD??? If you mean the backlight for the fuel economy gauge, yes, it is only a matter of changing the bulbs or fixing a solder joint or two. Fairly easy, aside from thefact that getting behind the instrument panel is kind of a pain. You can always do without it.
