| Has anyone got a kill switch installed in their Beemer?
In case there's some confusion, a "kill switch" is a home made anti-theft device. It's just an electrical switch, hidden anywhere in the car (cabin), which cuts off electrical connection when flicked so that the car can not be started. I had one on my old car and it was fab. Saved my ride from going bye-bye once.
I want to put one in my 318i '96 and I was just wondering if anyone here who has done it has some tips. On my old car it was spliced at one of the transmission wires, so when it was switched on the car acted like it was being started in gear (i.e. didn't want to start).
Anyway, has anyone done it? |
