ive a 1996 318is and thinking of adding a K & N filter to it. has anyone done the same? let me know your thoughts ?

i put a ram cold air cone k&n intake into my 325is, sounds a lot louder now, and i think it picks up a lot better.

are talking drop in, short ram, or CAI?

Also, green filters are shown to produce similar gains but filter much better.

I have a K&N now, and have used them for over 15 years on various vehicles. I would recommend them to others here.

Now, if Green is better; is Green a Brand name, or just the color of the filter?
