just ordered my rims. 17"x8.5" Breyton Inspirations. got them outa company in texas. hard parts done, now i gotta wait a week for them. i can't wait, ther gunna look so good. had to blurt out

I like the Breyton wheels better when it comes to looks, but the BBS wheels are stronger (ive heard) and lighter (by 2 lbs.)

What tires will you use? I hope my setup will fit. I dont want to roll my fenders but maybe i will if i have to :P

Hey...those are the same rims that are on our...01 540i...and 03 540i...that's sweet...I love those rims...

Im going to put on yokohama avs es100 tires on my new tires and from what ive heard they are good tires!!

your probably thinking of the BMW M Paralells wheels. Those are Breyton Inspiration aftermarket wheels.

But yes, they do look similar.

mm, i almost bought some ACS replicas, but i like the bigger lip on the breyton's, and the design flows more also. those ACS are sweet tho, my second choice

Your car will look sharp! I just tinted my windows and upgraded my headlights to xenon/angel eyes... looks so different from that old picture!
anyway, post pics once you install them!

shame about the gold color though, but whutcha gunna do. waste of money to paint it and its a nice finish so, ill live with it

What tires will you use?

PLEASE let me know how they fit and your thoughts on them.

Also, be prepared to roll your fenders. I was looking at my 205/60/15's and i think the wheel and the tire combined is only slightly smaller than a XXX/40/17. In addition, I am planning on running 245/40/17 rears, (and possibly fronts) and it really looks like they are going to rub hardcore.

Do it professionally or do it yourself using the right tools and extensive research..:

1 A fender rolling machine (hard to aquire)
1 heat gun.

(not a baseball bat and a hair dryer) Many people who use this method end up cracking their paint from not heating it enough or rolling their fenders too fast.

Either way, be careful!
