So I am going heading down to this drag strip (NOT TO RUN MY CAR, BUT TO WATCH MY BUDDY RUN HIS TURBO CIVIC HATCH) that is about 40 mins from where I live. It was raining on the way down on the highway and my rear tires are pretty bald and I need to rotate them soon, or get two new ones. Anyways, i am going down the highway at like 45mph b/c I can feel my car fish tailing a little bit, b/c is is raining hard as hell, I was in the fast lane, which turned out to be a good thing. Next thing I know is that the whole back end of my car goes out to the right and I go straight into this wide ass grass meadian and did like 10 donuts and slide forever. My car only bottom out once which sucks, but I'm glad it didnt happen any more than that. My car looked like I went off roading and my alignment is off a bit. Though I might just share this little story. BTW, does anyone know where I can take my car to get an alignment and does anyone know how much it would be at the BMW Dealership to get an alignment? Thanks A lot.....
Normal shops charge any where from 50-80 bucks for an alinement... I wouldnt pay more than 70 bucks for one... a computerized one... with a Hunter computer alinement machine. There are many places that have these... including the dealer... but alinements are not something I would get at the dealership... look around for the right one.
try an alignment but i hope you didnt tweek somethin...
