I always wanted to get a set of ellipsoid headlights and I thought that they may be cheaper in Italy (since they are so close to Germany) so I decided to go to a BMW dealer while I was on vacation.
They dealer had both ZKW and Bosch but when he told me the price my jaw hit the floor...480 Euros a piece! That works out to about 800 bucks CAD or 600 bucks US/side! I know that Italy got screwed when they changed over to the Euro but that price is crazy!
But my desire for these lights has gone up even more after seeing every E36 in Italy with a set of those lights.
They are so nice!
