Just Bought a 95 325ic - WoW

First of all a big thanks to the members of this site. I was researching info on this site before my purchase, and really learned alot. I made the jump and purchased a Black 95 325ic w/ 145k for $6000. It is overall really clean inside and out. Not sure if the price was the best, but I was sold when I drove the car. I was able to negiotiate some; they were asking $6500. Anyway, I was hoping to get some info on preventative maintenance repairs I should do to prolong the life of a vehicle of this age and mileage. i have already done the following:

• sway bar links
• new rotors and pads
• oil change
• trans flush
• new front struts (had to for inspection, one was leaking)
• BG 44k gas treatment

any info you guys could share would be great. I have attached a pic of the car. Thanks!

Yes, definelty do a coolant flush. Oil, filter, plugs etc.. fuel filter. Keep all receipts and start a maintence log.

Also you might want to look at the drive belt and tensioners, water pump, and rear shock mounts. good luck.

did the car come w/ any maintenance records? if so, when's the last time the thermostat, thermostat housing and water pump have been replaced? If not, i'd probably pull and check and replace if needed. THese simple parts will make or break your BMW owning experience, as they are prone to unanounced failure, occasionally taking the engine along with it.

Beyond that, just the wear and tear parts should be looked over for a car of that age/mileage:
-brake pads
-brake rotors
-brake fluid/lines
-tie rods
-a-arms
-shox/springs
-ICV
-plugs/wires
-exhaust

im sure some of the others guys will mention anything i'm forgetting.....
btw, looks great, provided the car is mechanically sound, seems like a pretty good deal!
