Ok.....got my upgrades in, starting with the Blaupunkt powered subwoofer.
I basically got this idea from BSW.....Barvarian Sound Werks. They offer a stealth powered subwoofer set up for the e36, but only on the convertible.......it is installed behind the rear seat's center armrest. Behind the armrest there is a leather flap that covers a metal plate that pops out into the trunk, this is there for the ski storage option from the dealer.
BSW has a fully deatailed instructions link, I used to wire & install the sub, which shows you exactly how to wire the sub to the existing amp in the trunk, power to battery, & ground...........
Thanks guys......I actually installed front & rear sways + links, my e36 started to handle better, after I lowered it with the H&R Sports & Bilstein struts & shocks......I really have not put through a true test, but I will this coming March 29th when I attend the upcoming BMW meet & cruise through the twisties of Bear Mountain New York.....
Ok.....I recently ordered new TMS Crossed Drilled Rotors.....& I just installed them with Akebono Ceramic pads.....I had painted the calipers black when I installed the wheels last year, but they kind of got lost with all the other black, so I repainted them silver instead of red.....looks good with my whole Blacked out theme.....will post pictures tomorrow !
